About me:
The abbreviated version: outdoor enthusiast, adventure seeker, cultered, gregarious, outgoing, energetic, intelligent, avid reader, cyclist, sometimes triathlete, independent southern lady with a sincere faith. More? I moved to Utah in September by way of Colorado and Tennessee; I moved west 2 years ago for my love of the outdoors. I love anything adventurous: hiking, cycling, backpacking, skiing, you name it, but I am a master of none. Suffice it to say that you may have to wait for me a bit! (10 minute mile, 16 mph bike, 40 minute mile on the swim...aka...SLOW!) Other things that fill my time include anything cultural: great wine, nice restaurants, travel, live music, museums, and live theatre. I?m an avid reader, and an evening at home with a nice glass of wine, fire, jazz music, and a great book suits me just fine. I enjoy playing golf, but I'm horrible. I love hard work and getting dirty. I?m pretty witty and moderately sarcastic, but I hate to see a couple whose only comedic relief is cutting each other down all the time. A sporting event is by far my favorite date; I know more than the average girl, but less than the average guy, about football. I prefer a guys' night to a girls' night. Don?t worry; I can still walk in high heels, and I love feeling sexy and feminine. I read the paper every day. I watch the news every day. I have very firm opinions but hate getting into huge debates. I'm devout in my faith, and I find that faith doesn't inhibit me from living a very fun life or force me to live in a box. I have been a missionary to the underprivileged in places like Africa and New Zealand, so that should tell you something about my faith. I've been to Church only a few times this year, so that should tell you something else. :)
