About me:
I have just took the big leap in moving her to The Big Apple a few months ago. I just wish the timing could have been better for me. How I'm looking at things these days, it either now or never. I'm a visual artist and I have three more classes to take before I take the state exam and enter the world of Real Estate despite the sub-prime meltdown and all. I am constantly feeding my creative being but I have been out of balance as of late and I want my business/financial side of me to be fed. Strange huh? Overall I'm a well-balanced individual and can move from topic to topic with ease. Even if I don't understand it, I make it a point to do so. Even if it means researching that point of interest for weeks, I want to soak in as much knowledge as possible on any given subject matter. The brain is the largest sex organ and I intend to stimulate that at all times....regardless of my circumstances or situation. I am here to surround myself with those of that successful cloth and learn from those who have walked the mile many times before and yet are still students themselves. Reason being, you never stop learning. Like the Khalil Gilbran quote, "The minute you think you know everything, you know nothing." I am a bookworm and have read everything from Finance to Art, to eastern philosophy, self-development and new thought. Don't get into romance novels....I prefer to live that experience as oppose to reading it. Danielle Steele couldn't hold a candle to what my romantic life would be like not to disrespect the famed author. She holds her own though. The magazines are unlike what most women read. Any magazine dealing with luxury cars is up my alley, Robb Report, Food & Wine, Nat Geo (National Geographic) just to name a few. Love learning about the different cultures around me. I just need to get a passport...LOL =) Fun to read about them and learn from friends you know but not the same when you immerse yourself in the culture itself. You appreciate it that much more I feel. Music tastes? Love Electronica...I can listen to it all day long. My favorite sub-genres tend to be Ambient, Chillout, NuJazz, Lounge. Right now I'm listening to a group out of Zurich, Switzerland called Merge Of Equals...I'm always easily transported to another world just listening to them. Love Dzihan & Kamien (Vienna, Austria), Experimental Feelings (Barcelona, Spain), etc. I also listen to Jazz, Classical (Gregorian...16th Century, Minimalism). If you want to know more about my music tastes in detail, don't be afraid to ask me. In the end, self-love is why I'm free.
