About me:
am a WAHM(work at home mom)who loves to write poetry. I am currently working on getting published. I am a bit of a talker as most would say since I love a good conversation. I can be quiet & reserved when necessary which is not often. I am a bit of a homebody & do not care for the night life much but I do get a thrill out of dancing once in a while. I find dancing & loosing myself into the music is a great stress relief for me or should I say my momentary getaway from life's little problems. I am always up for a new experience. Life is way to short not to try to live it to its fullest within reason of course. I do after all have a tad of a wild side to me even though I can stay very grounded. So just to let you know I am a single mother & not looking for a daddy for my son since he has one that he absolutely loves. My son is first & foremost in my life. He is my true love cuz nothing is no truer love than a love for your child. He is my heart & for a man to be close to me or to be in my life has to accept that. However that doesn't mean that there is not a place in my heart for mr. right in my life. I have a big heart and when I love it is true and pure. I absolutely love to cook. It is great to get together with friends & show off my intermediate skills in cooking. I just started my hand at using the bbq pit. Dang that is too easy, so I have learned how to cook a good steak on the pit. I am a pretty clean person for the most part & hate to have a messy house although I am no where near what most would call a neat freak. Things get a little out of place at times but that is so typical. As far as music is concerned, I am a rock & roll gal all the way but do listen to most music. Music is much like poetry to me. What can I say I am a romantic at heart. AT the same time that this girl likes to be wined & dined(only a tad) lol, I expect honesty & communications. I hate when people hide their feelings or are afraid to communicate what is on their mind. I want a man to be real with me. If there is more you would like to know please feel free to msg me. I have always considered myself an open book. Ask me anything & I will tell you. Not sure what else to say because I believe the best way to get to know someone is through contact & conversation. I am a bit reserved about this online dating thing. This is my first site ever, so I am not sure what to expect. I am not looking for just a fling but a companion I can call a friend & more. I hate games so please don't waste my time if that is what you are about. Okay so more to me if you want to know...LOL I am a very independent woman who feels the need to do for herself than to depend on others to help me. I guess that can be a fault of mine, but that is just me. I know there are many out there like myself looking to find the one who is a compliment to who they are. That is great because I feel a partnership is two halves of one whole. After all it is the qualities we find we don't have in ourselves that we admire most about others. When I become close to someone they become a part of my circle of importance. I tend to be protective of those in my life because they matter that much to me. I hate when people judge without truly knowing what they are making judgment against. I am not a perfect woman. I have my faults like many out there. I like to learn from my mistakes so that I may not make them again. If we can not or are not willing to learn from our own mistakes then we can not move forward & grow as we are intended to as humans. I have not signed up as a serious member BUT am serious about meeting someone that I can not only call my friend but a partner as well. So even though you don't see the serious member mark on my profile, I do want you to know I am serious about what I am looking for in a partner as well as my intentions.
