About me:
I grew up on the East Coast but have always been a West Coast soul. I do a mean Tina Turner impersonation and insist on singing "I Will Survive" at every drag queen show I attend. I find the whole "love of a lifetime" notion very romantic and am happy for those who have been lucky enough to experience it at least once. I skipped out on typing in highschool so I could take more art classes. Back then I figured, "why the hell does anyone need to know how to type!" then discovered in college that it would come handy. I once signed up for an Extreme Cuisine cooking class on a bet and I won. And now I know that roasted crickets taste like soy nuts. I'm the only gal I know who thinks Ben Stiller and Jeff Goldbloom are sexy. I also think women with curves are sexy and bellydancers have the best bodies. I have been lucky enough to star-gaze the night sky in the Sahara Desert, get lost in Rio, dance on stage with Los Van Van in Havana, party till the sun came up in Buenos Aires, move to the other side of the country by myself, fall in love, fall out of love, get held up by gun point and lived to tell the tale and risk everything for a dream. And I still feel as though it is only the first chapter of a very interesting story. I like to sing but have noticed this does not work out well for me. My favorite things are my Birkenstocks, and wife-beaters. I would take a dirty road trip over an Caribbean cruise any day. My Grandpa won big in the lottery twice this year, I am hoping some of his luck can rub off. My Grandma is 82 who I swear stopped aging at 65 and my Mom is 51 and looks 15 years younger. I guess that means I have good genes. My first kiss was in kindergarten, well he tricked me into it, and although boys had cooties back then I think I liked it. If I care about you, I would go to the ends of the earth if you needed me to. And you'd have to be pretty damn remarkable to captivate me so. I have used all the pages in my passport and carry it with me just in case something comes up last minute. I would like to someday learn the Art of the Samari and the Mysteries of the Kama Sutra.
