About me:
Those who know me well describe me as kind, compassionate, and empathetic. I'd argue with them just for the sake of a good debate, but then I'd be lying, and that's a no-no in my Book of Life. I'm a mother, a sister, a daughter, and a friend... every relationship I have in my life means the world to me, and I do any and everything within my abilities to back that up with my actions. I'm sophisticated and somewhat traveled, yet I'm self-admittedly obnoxious and laughably crude if and usually when the time calls for such behaviors. I love to cook, AND I enjoy eating equally as much. Good gin on the rocks and great wine are favorites. Music is in my soul, and dancing is in my shoes. I love salsa and ballroom dancing, and the occasional ghetto booty shaking gets throwin into the mix too. I'd like to say I'm great a great dancer and would blow you away with my slick moves, but I guess great is one of those relative terms. You'll have to be the judge. You'll hardly ever catch me out of the house without heels on. I like to click when I walk. What can I say? I'm odd. However, if you are one of the rare and may I say lucky few who do catch me in something less than 4 inches high... it's probably because we're camping, rafting, hiking, or playing some type of sport that doesn't really call for the dramatics in wardrobe. All of that said - I'm sure that to some people, I come off as prissy and high-maintenance, and that wouldn't be an entirely inaccurate assumption, however... I'm mostly self-maintained, and I'm not afraid to play in the dirt!!!! Musems, gardens, sailing, flying, mountains, lakes, beaches, desert... I like it all. Fast cars and motorcycles (street or dirt) will make me want to know you, simply because I'm an adrenaline junkie. There is nothing greater than waking up in a new place. Now all of you who are fans of Freud, I suggest you get your head out of that dark and raunchy gutter, and open your mind to what I really meant by that... I love to travel. Getting on a plane and just going is a hobby and a passion. I coach a club soccer team in my spare time - If you've ever had the 'pleasure' of being in charge of and/or responsible for eighteen 15-yr old girls at one time, then you know how amazing and crazy and nearly insane I must be for doing it. (INTERRUPTION) Note: If you're an adult man who doesn't coach youth sports, and you know what I mean... do not write to me. (RESUMING NORMAL TEXT) Terrible sense of humor, I know. What else? I play poker like my life depends on it, and I'm addicted to watching anything involving MMA. The Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Yankees, USC Trojans, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Los Angeles Lakers will always be allowed to dwell in my heart, and quite possibly even in my home. ***If you're looking for a serious relationship and you are NOT okay with 30 young, athletic men staying in your home at one time, just because I really like how they look in their uniforms, then I'm probably not the girl for you*** Yeah, yeah -- I'm terrible. In summary, students - I don't really know what I'm looking for on MeetingMillionaires, other than something I don't already have. I'm open to finding "the one", and I'm equally as open to finding someone who will tell me my shit does in fact stink, my butt does look big, and that I'm not always right no matter how big my chest is ...AKA... a true friend. If you are one in the same... even better. The following is a little collection of quotes that I adore. "Some people never go crazy, What truly horrible lives they must live." -- Charles Bukowski "I respect faith, but doubt is what gets you an education." -- Wilson Mizner "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." -- Abraham Lincoln "That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence." -- 'Mia Wallace' Hope you've enjoyed reading as much as I've enjoyed writing.
