About me:
I can be extreme and need someone who has that side. I?d like to think I'd try almost anything once. I live by the mindset that we go around once and when I?m 90 I want plenty of amazing stories to reminisce about from my rocking chair. I was raised in a family that is big on family history and preservation of family stories and I love it! I?ve done two 4,000 mile coast to coast road trips, been an NFL photographer, worked towards my black belt in kickboxing ? ran a half marathon, went to Space Camp (ok, I was 12 when I did that, but still!! ;) ? spur of the moment flights to where ever? point is I like adventures. Became a photojournalist because I realized I wanted to do and see everything ? with that career I was able to step into the lives of different people everyday. Every person you meet changes you just a little? I feel very fortunate to have had that opportunity. I do enjoy what I do now, commercial real estate development ? it feeds the other side of my brain ... and allows me to afford the things I love to do. I feel comfortable in any situation ? black tie / 5 star or dive bar in the middle of nowhere. Love what a city offers ? but I grew up in the 'country' (Napa Valley) and outdoor adventures ? boating, camping etc. I am part tom boy (thanks Dad) and part ?girly girl?. My friends would say I am perpetually over dressed (4'' heels are a staple in my wardrobe) ? but I?ll still win an argument about football in those heels! On the other hand love wearing a ball cap and favorite sweatshirt on a rainy day. .. I?m passionate about things in my life, people and interests I take up? and yes even Football. (There is no shopping on Sundays between August and January) The exception would be if I happen to be traveling somewhere amazing.
