So, I'm new to online dating and decided to finally take the plunge. If you told me when I first moved to the city (8 years ago), that I would end up going online to meet people, I would have said you were crazy. It didn't seem possible, especially living in NYC! I work in advertising and have always worked a lot of hours. More recently things have been better and I've had a better work/life balance....thank god! I've always been a hard worker which is probably why I'm still living here. I've been working since high school and have always given 110%, no matter what job I had - and I've had a lot of jobs! I'm pretty independent and typically a planner, but I have a tendency to also be spontaneous. I know first hand how short life can be and how important it is to take risks and enjoy yourself. You never want to look back and have regrets. Something else you may want to know especially for New Yorkers who happen to be NY Jets or Giants fan - I'm a Patriots fan. I love watching football and look forward to Sundays. I think the perfect day is going to a bar and ordering wings and beer and watching your favorite football team. As you may have noticed from my pictures, I went to the superbowl- with a giants fan. About a week before the game we decided to just fly out there and get a hotel even though we didn't have tickets. Next thing you know we are dropping cash on tickets. So it all worked out and although my team lost, it was the best game I've ever seen. I'm not going to lie, it was quite depressing especially having to fly back with Giant fans! So if you're a football fan that is great and if you're a Patriots fan, even better! I know I can't rule out Jets/Giants fans especially living in NY, but if we agree to disagree on who the better team is, it should be fine. So the way I'm looking at match is like this - its just another outlet to meet people. If along the way I end up meeting someone and we have a great connection, its a bonus.
