About me:
I am very social and out-going and love to have fun. My family and friends are amazing and extremely important to me - if you like me, you gotta like them. Which, of course, you would. I have a five year old son, Jake, and he is absolutely the light of my life, and I am a better person since he came into this world. I'm not sure if I want to have more kids or not, but I certainly love the wee ones and the perspective children have on life. And, obviously, anyone who kicks it with me will need to be down with my son and the important role he has in my life. I've worked in advertising for what seems like forever, and for a time I joined the rest of the sad souls in this tired economy looking for a new job, as my previous ad agency went bankrupt. At last I have landed at a new shop and it's a huge relief. New job, new life, new house. I think that's enough change for one year. 2009, be gentle. While I'm not super athletic I like to be active and am generally up for anything. Most describe me as charming, with a great sense of humor and sharp wit. I love to try new things (that don't involve heights) - from a fancy night out to camping to an afternoon baseball game. I love meeting new people and believe I have a kind, accepting way about me. The other big thing with me right now is being newly divorced. It's been a trip, to say the least, one that I'm glad has ended. I have a new place in Multnomah Village though, an area in SW Portland that I adore, so that is a bright spot. It's been lovely to entertain and fill my new home with friends and family and start over with a fresh new palette.
