About me:
I work with animals and love most things on four legs so I would find it hard to understand someone who didn't at least have a like of animals. I have a cat and plan on getting a lovely pooch this summer and find men with pets just that much more attractive. Second, while New York has a wonderful assortment of educated and well-traveled people, I think that the sense of self accomplishment in this city can be so great that there is little room or interest left in learning about another person. I would much prefer to have a good two-way conversation, even if we're discussing the boring details of our day, than I would a fantastic one-way description of achievements. I have discovered I am not very responsive to visual art and don't enjoy museums very much. I love music but am slightly disappointed when I hear it live and it doesn't sound as good as on my CD. I read Time Out on a regular basis but spend many a night at home after work with my favorite show. I am not interested in meeting a male version of myself, that would be too boring. I am not much of a clubbing person and only a moderate drinker but am a major foodie and could spend any night of the week in a restaurant. I spend all my extra money on travel and tend tolike outdoor activities such as hiking on my vacations. I am on a bad run with books at the moment and seem to have picked a lot of stinkers. I prefer current fiction and hate chick lit and mysteries.
