About me:
I am a 32 year old single female who recently got posted to work in New York and has been loving it ever since. I love dancing and has been dancing since I was small. Won 2nd place in the Chachacha and 3rd place Rumba non-professional category in a national competition last 2002. I so love dancing that I just tried auditioning when Les Mills Body Jam were looking for instructors and ... I was chosen and even passed the training to teach the Bodyjam module. Nothing beats practicing the new moves together with passionate dancers and then teaching it after a month to gym members/clients for 6 weeks. As for sports. Love swimming and consider myself a mermaid underwater. I love reading mystery/thriller novels by Greg Iles, David Morell, Dan Brown, etc. I also read books by Og Mandino and love Adrew Matthews' Being Happy. Readers digest as well as Calvin and Hobbes comicbooks are some of my favorites. I also studied Spanish with Instituto Cervantes and was granted a 9-month scholarship for Japanese Language. Guess that's it! I am told to be an extrovert and was tagged Miss Congeniality during my scholarship since I tend to organize and do stuff which could help out our group a lot like uploading assignment files on our Yahoo Groups (which i also started) or organizing a party for our friends. My friends appreciate my thoughtfulness and sweetness and would just smile and laugh when some people think I'm a snob since I have a tendency to be quiet among strangers but would immediately be the extroverted one as soon as I warm up to people. Living in Japan with more than 30 other people from other continents such as Africa, South America, Europe, and Asia opened my eyes to and made me understand different cultures and behaviors of people. This has also made me appreciate and respect people from all walks of life.
