About me:
A good kitchen starts with a good chef�s knife. It makes cooking for friends much more enjoyable.I have mixed feelings about renewing my New Yorker subscription because paper publications use up valuable resources�but there�s something to be said for the tactile experience when reading.Love reading books. Especially when I�m close to the end and am anxious to find out how the story ends, but don�t want the story to end because it was so good to begin with.I am close with my family (cousins, brother, parents, grandparents�the whole shebang).I love dogs. But won�t subject one to the torture of being left home alone in my apartment all day long. I�m allergic to cats and don�t like birds and small furry things so this leaves me pet-less.Ahhhh, music! Who doesn�t love it? Well, many people claim they really love music. We all have our favorites, but if you really love music, shouldn�t you be able to enjoy or at the very least, appreciate most kinds of music?Guilty pleasures? Doritos and 80s chic flicks (think Baby Boom, Moonstruck, Pretty In Pink).But fear not my classics/indie/foreign food and film loving friends. Jean de Florette, La Dolce Vita, Harold and Maude are also some of my favorites as are truffle oil drizzled over risotto, grilled eel, raw oysters and veal (on occasion, I know, I know, I know).If here�s where I list a bunch of personality descriptors, then I�d like to chose the following words: goofy, sensitive, brash, outgoing, curious, passionate, romantic, nurturing, centered�and corny. I�m corny sometimes. Gotta let loose from time to time to keep the soul open.
