About me:
I consider myself outgoing, confident, and can be sarcastic and competitive, (but mostly playing Texas Hold'em or Scrabble!) I'm generally easy going, but also like a good debate. I have a pretty traditional job in banking, so do my best to balance this outside of work. There's nothing I like more than spending quality time with close friends or visiting my family. I?m a pretty independent girl, but given the choice I?d rather be around people. My guy friends love that I can talk on their level about sports, although I need a refresher after living without pro-teams the last few years. One of my favourite things about NYC is all the access to music - I try to have something new on my iPod at all times and I check out a lot of shows. While I?d like to say I enjoy staying in with a good bottle of wine and a movie (and this does have its moments), reality is if I could check out a band or go to the theater every night, I totally would. That being said, I?m much more inclined to hang out at small, neighbourhood spots, rather than ?scenes?, and I?ll take the Bowery Ballroom over MSG any day. I?ve always been a more-the-merrier person and love to share the things I enjoy with other people in the hopes they will love it, too. While I love exploring the city, especially now that the weather?s warming up, I also love to travel. I?m always planning my next trip, and have my sights set on Egypt, Costa Rica or Australia/NZ for the next big ones.
